In my Bible reading today, I was reminded of God's heart for the forsaken. Possibly this will bless you today. -- Dr. Dale

Psalm 27:10 “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.”

We all have been forsaken, hurt and betrayed by someone, parents and others. Life is like that. It's going to happen. Sometimes, the wounds of the soul go very deep. They're never erased and remaiing in the archives of our broken memories. However, the pain can be diminished by embracing God's heart for you. No matter what you have experienced, God's heart was broken, too.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for helping me through the times of rejection, hurt, and betrayal being hurt and forsaken by others. It has only strengthened Our relationship. You are the Father I need. You provide me with a mother’s heart of love and comfort. Thank you for being here for me.

P.S. Hold on to this truth for you: "I will see the goodness of the Lord. I will wait for the Lord; be strong, take heart and wait upon the Lord." Ps 27:14
